Literature review journal entitled "A conceptual model incorporating Twitter as a Language Tool in ESL/EFL Learning".

welcome back and this time I will focus on explaining the method used by the author in compiling a journal entitled "A conceptual model incorporating Twitter as a Language Tool in ESL/EFL Learning".

Component

Description

Moderator

Moderator is responsible to identify and drive the CoP for the success of the
ESL/EFL community.

Reader

Reader reads the posted and shared content by the EFL/ESL community. The
metadata such as time taken to read the posts/tweets; opening of the hyperlink;
playing, pausing and scrolling of the video/audio contribute in profiling the CoP.

Author

Author generates the post/tweets ESL/EFL community. The moderator
moderates the content shared by the author. The metadata such as time taken to
post/tweet; reply or like posts contribute in profiling the author’s interest in
ESL/EFL CoP.

Artifact

The artifact component is critical to generate the metadata and corpus to develop the deep insights of the ESL/EFL CoP. The corpus consists of fundamental
elements such as – tweet, retweet, likes, quote, message, share, survey.

Pre-processing

The pre-processing component contributes to the pre-processing of the data
before it undergoes mainstream analysis. Some of the pre-processing performed
over the data are- cleaning of the data, removing of unwanted characters [or
emoticons], tokenizing of the data and transforming the data to the context for
further processing.

Knowledge

The knowledge component contributes to the development of the understanding
of CoP participation towards the unified vision. The component comprises__
two focus elements- Sentiment and Thematic.

Sentiment

The sentiment component of the model helps to identify the sentiments of the
ESL/EFL CoP at all points of transaction and learning. The moderator can intervene at any time to control or drive the participation of the readers and
authors, based on the outcome of the sentiment component.

Thematic

The thematic component of the model helps the moderator to devise strategy to
prioritize and reinforce the ESL/EFL learnings and discussions.

Visualization

The moderator can track and monitor the CoP status of participation,
involvement and learning through the Visualization component of the model.

Insights

The Insights component amalgamates and synergizes the overall learning goal of the ESL/EFL community.

Feedback

The feedback component gives feedback of the insights of the model as the “raw
data” and then integrates it with other metadata and corpus to enrich and improve the ESL/EFL community learning process.

Metrics

Metrics provide measurement at the level of network, community, and
individual. Some typical metrics are – modularity, betweenness, centrality,
degree. The density can be used to identify the connectivity of the participants
for any ESL/EFL learning. It signifies the total number of links/relationships
established for ESL/EFL learning.

Introduction journal entittled "A conceptual model incorporating Twitter as a Language Tool in ESL/EFL Learning".

Welcome back to my blog site, here we will examine more about the journal that I have reviewed before, let's start reviewing it again :

Microblogging platforms with respect to Twitter have shown a promising benefit in
education. The current paper presents an integration of social network parameters with Twitter CoP learning analysis with an aim to provide several benefits to the stakeholders and also to drive the success of ESL/EFL learning ecosystem.

Microblog for ESL/EFL

Microblog is an extension of the traditional blog. While maintaining the purpose of disseminating the information, the microblogs are useful in precisely rolling out or sharing the information due to the inherent constraint of the
size of the content.

Social Network Analysis

Social network analysis has emerged as new areas of research in both social and behavioral sciences to study the relationship among social entities (Boyd 2007).

Constructing a Network Graph

First thing required for any network analysis is the establishment of the relationships among the participation entities of the network.

Visualization and characterization of the Network Graph

One of the typical analyses of the network graph is achieved with the help of descriptive modeling and inference.

Network Graph Metrics

There exists three main level of metrics by which one can get the detailed level of analysis for the social network of ESL/EFL learning and teaching CoP.

Conceptual Model

To address the gaps in the existing literature and practices on the microblog applications, such as Twitter and their
integration with social network analysis for ESL/EFL, a systematic conceptual model is proposed

I think that is enough to describe the introduction of the journal, thank you for visiting my blog 😊

Review chapter 11-16 from book entitled : Goals!

Assalamualaikum wr.wb

Hello guys welcome back to my blog for review inspirational book entitled Goals! . And this is the last chance for review this book , in this chance i want review from chapter 11 untill chapter 16 , and check this out :

Chapter Eleven is telling about "Become An Expert In Your Field" :

In our economic system, your income will be determined by three factors: first, what you do; second, how well you do it; and third, the difficulty of replacing you. One of the qualities of top people is that, at a certain point in their careers, they decided to “Commit to Excellence.” They decided
to be the best at what they do. They decided to pay any price, make any sacrifice, and invest any amount of time necessary to become very good in their chosen fields. And as a result of this decision, they pulled away from the pack of average performers and moved themselves upward into the income category where today they earn three, four, five and ten times as much as their peers who have not made this commitment.

Chapter Twelve is telling about "Get Around The Right People" :

The more people you know, and who know you in a positive
way, the more successful you will be at anything you attempt. One
person, at the right time, in the right place, can open a door for you
that can change your life and save you years of hard work.

Chapter Thirteen is telling about "Make A Plan of Action" :

Your ability to set goals and make plans for their accomplishment is the “master skill” of success. There is no other skill that will help you more in fulfilling your potential in achieving everything that you are able to accomplish.

Chapter Fourteen is telling about "Manage Your Time Well" :

To achieve all your goals, and become everything you are capable of becoming, you must get your time under control. Psychologists generally agree that a “sense
of control” is the key to feelings of happiness, confidence, power and personal
well-being. And a sense of control is only possible when you practice excellent
time management skills.

Chapter Fifteen is telling about "Review Your Goals Daily" :

There are many techniques that can help you to achieve your personal and financial goals faster. In this chapter, I want to share
with you a special method that has taken more people from rags to riches than any other single method ever discovered. It is simple, fast, effective and guaranteed to work – if you will practice it.

Chapter Sixteen is telling about
"Visualize Your Goals Continually"

You possess and have available to you virtually unlimited mental powers. The average person is unaware of these powers and fails to use them for goal attainment. That is why his or her results are only average.

When you begin to tap into and unleash the power of your subconscious and superconscious minds, you will often achieve more in a year or two than the average person achieves in a lifetime. You
will start moving more rapidly toward your goals than you can currently imagine.

And i think that's all from me , thank you for reading my posting , see you on next blog 🙏

Review Chapter 6-10 from book entitled Goals!

Assalamualaikum wr.wb

Hello guys welcome back to my blog for review inspirational book entitled Goals! . As we know , in the previous post i have shared review from chapter 1-5 , now i want to share my personal review from chapter 6-10 . And here we go :

Chapter 6 is tell about Decide Upon Your Major Definite Purpose :

Since you become what you think about most of the time, a major definite purpose gives you a focus for every waking moment. As Peter Drucker said, “Whenever you find something getting done, you find a monomaniac with a mission.”
The more you think about your major definite purpose, and how to achieve it, the more you activate the Law of Attraction in your
life. You begin to attract to you people, opportunities, ideas and resources that help you to move more rapidly toward your goal, and move your goal more rapidly toward you. By the Law of Correspondence, your outer world of experience will correspond and harmonize with your inner world of goals.

Chapter 7 is telling about Analyze Your Beliefs :

Perhaps the most important of all mental laws is the Law of Belief. This law says that, whatever you believe, with conviction, becomes your reality. You do not believe what you see; you see what you already believe. You actually view your world through a lens of beliefs, attitudes, prejudices and preconceived notions. “You are not
what you think you are, but what you think, you are.” In the Old Testament, it says, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” This means that, you always act on the outside based on your innermost beliefs and convictions about yourself.

Chapter 8 is telling about Start at the Beginning :

Imagine that you were going to take a long trip across the country. The first thing you would do would be to choose your
destination and then get a road map to determine the very best way to get there. Each day, before you started out, you would locate yourself on a map relative to where you are and where you plan to go in the hours ahead. Life is very much the same.

Chapter 9 is telling about Measure Your Progress :

You have incredible mental powers that you habitually fail to use to their full extent. By systematically setting goals for your life and making detailed plans to achieve them, you will save yourself years of hard work in reaching the same level of success. Goal setting enables you to use vastly more of your thinking powers than the
average person. Your conscious mind is the “head office” of your life. Its role is to deal with the information in your environment and then to identify, analyze, compare it against other information and then to decide what actions to take.

Chapter 10 is telling about Eliminate the Roadblocks :

The fact is that successful people fail far more often than unsuccessful people. Successful people try more things, fall down, pick themselves up and try again, over and over again before they win through. Unsuccessful people try a few things, if they try at all, and very soon quit and go back to what they were doing before.

Finally , i think from that review we can get some motivation for improve our own personality, it is hoped that after we know what we have to do we can realize it in our daily lives.

Wassalamu'alaikum wr.wb

Review chapter 1-5 from book entittled Goals!

Title : Goals! (How to Get Everything You Want — Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible ).
By: Brian Tracy
Pages : 432
Chapter : 21

Hello guys! In this opportunity i would like to review book entitled Goals! (How to Get Everything You Want — Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible ) by Brian Tracy , and i want to review this book chapter by chapter . There is 21 chapter in this book , and i will review 5 chapter every post.

First chapter is about "Unlock Your Potential" , it is important for the readers because if the readers get the point from this tittle , the readers can know the deepest potential of them , and in this book the writter said that :

“The potential of the average person is like a huge ocean unsailed, a
new continent unexplored, a world of possibilities waiting to be released and
channeled toward some great good.”

It's means your ability to set goals is the master skill of success. Goals unlock your positive mind and release ideas and energy for goal attainment. Without goals, you simply drift and flow on the currents of life. With goals, you fly like an arrow, straight and true to your target.

And second chapter tell about "Take Charge Of Your Life".

“A man, as a general rule, owes very little to what he is born with – a man is
what he makes of himself.” (Alexander Graham Bell)

The writter tell a story when he was 21, he was broke and living in a small one-room apartment, in the middle of a very cold winter, working on a construction job during the day. He usually couldn’t afford to go out of his apartment in the evenings, where at least it was warm, so he had a lot of time to think. One night as he sat there at my small kitchen table, he had a great flash of awareness. It changed my life. He suddenly realized that everything that happened to me for the rest of his life was going to be up to me. No one else was ever going to help him. No one was coming to the rescue. He was thousands of miles from home with no intentions of going back for a long time. He saw clearly at that moment that if anything in his life were going to change, it would have to begin with me. If he didn’t change, nothing else would change. He wasr esponsible.

After that in third chapter "Create Your Own Future"

“You will become large as your controlling desire; or as great as your dominant aspiration.” (James Allen)

In more than 3300 studies of leaders conducted over the years, there is a special quality that stands out, one quality that all great leaders have in common. It is the quality of vision. Leaders have vision. Non-leaders do not. Earlier I said that the most important discovery in all of human history is that, “You become what you think about — most of the time.” What is it then that leaders think about, most of the time? And the answer is that leaders think about the future and where they are going, and what they can do to get there. Non-leaders, on the other hand, think about the present, and the pleasures and problems of the moment. They think and worry about the past, and what has happened that cannot be changed.
Next in fourth chapter tell about "Clarify Your Values"

“One universe made up of all that is: and one God in it all, and one
principle of being, and one law, the reason shared by all thinking creatures,
and one truth.” (Marcus Aurelius)

One of the most important characteristics of leaders, and top people in every area of life, is that they know who they are, what they believe in and what they stand for. Average people are usually confused about their goals, values and ideals, and as a result, they go back and forth and accomplish very little. Men and women who become leaders, on the other hand, with the same or even fewer abilities and opportunities, go onto accomplish great things in whatever they attempt. Life is lived from the inside out. The very core of your personality is your values. Your values are what make you the person you are. Everything you do on the outside is dictated and determined by your values on the inside, whether clear or fuzzy. The greater
clarity you have regarding your values on the inside, the more precise and effective will be your actions on the outside.
Furthermore in fifth chapter Determine Your True Goals.

“Realize what you really want. It stops you from chasing butterflies
and puts you to work digging gold.” (William Moulton Marsden)

My favorite word in goal setting, and in success in general, is the word “Clarity.” There is a direct relationship between the level of clarity you have about who you are and what you want, and virtually everything you accomplish in life. Superior men and women invest the time necessary to develop absolute clarity about themselves and what they really want, like designing a detailed blueprint for a building, before they begin construction. Average people just throw themselves at life, like a dog chasing a passing car, and wonder why they never seem to catch anything, or keep anything worthwhile. Henry David Thoreau once wrote, “Have you built your castles in the air? Good. That is where they should be built. Now, go to work and build foundations under them.”
Thanks for your great attention , and see you again in the next posting .
